Terms of Service for Faith in Action NC Apps
Welcome to the Faith in Action NC mobile applications, including the Faith in Action and Raleigh Unite apps (collectively, the "Apps"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our Apps and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using the Apps, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Apps.
1. About Us
The Apps are provided by Faith in Action NC to encourage discipleship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, evangelism, and community engagement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the Apps independently. If you are under 18, you should use the Apps with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
3. User Accounts
If you create an account, you agree to:
- •Provide accurate and current information.
- •Keep your login credentials secure.
- •Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
- •Accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- •Violate any applicable law.
- •Harass, threaten, or abuse others.
- •Upload harmful, offensive, defamatory, or illegal content.
- •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Apps or related systems.
- •Interfere with the operation or security of the Apps.
- •Use the Apps for commercial spam or unauthorized advertising.
Our goal is to maintain a Christ-centered, respectful, and welcoming community.
5. User Content
You may submit content such as prayer requests, comments, messages, or other information through the Apps.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Faith in Action NC permission to use, display, store, and process that content solely for operating and improving the Apps and related ministry activities.
You are responsible for the content you submit.
6. Donations
Donations made through the Apps are processed by trusted third-party payment providers. Faith in Action NC does not store complete payment card information.
Unless required by law, donations are generally considered voluntary and are not refundable.
7. Intellectual Property
All logos, graphics, text, videos, teachings, designs, and other content provided through the Apps are owned by or licensed to Faith in Action NC unless otherwise noted.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use our content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services
The Apps may integrate with third-party services that provide hosting, authentication, payment processing, notifications, analytics, or other functionality.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Availability
We strive to keep the Apps available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may be added, modified, or discontinued at any time.
10. Disclaimer
The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Faith in Action NC disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Content provided through the Apps is intended for informational and ministry purposes and should not be considered legal, financial, or medical advice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Faith in Action NC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Apps.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Apps if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or if doing so is necessary to protect our users, ministry, or services.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
